Immortality in book form
Another artistic component of the Golden Record Project is a physical book:
The Golden Record Project CENTURY BOOK.
Strictly speaking, it is not just an artistic aspect, but in principle continues an essential fundamental approach of the Golden Record Project: “Immortality”
Just as we pursue the goal of creating something for “eternity” with the holograms, avatars and videos presented (already presented elsewhere on this website), the Golden Record Project book is also intended to have this effect.
All participants can document themselves with their picture in the unique version of this book, which will last for a very long time in high quality printed form.
You might now be thinking, why in book form?
There are, for example, social networks, etc. Is a printed book of this kind even contemporary?
We think our offerings on this website, especially the avatars and holograms based on the latest technology, show that I am definitely up to date.
It's just that the fact that we are offering this book of the century in this form in addition to the other services has the following reasons, in the interests of my customers:
Today's social networks have probably only lasted a few decades.
You can probably think of a few social networks that existed and no longer exist or are no longer relevant (e.g. in Germany: StudiVZ or international MySpace, etc.).
Or think of other storage media: CDs, floppy disks, cassettes...
A real book, however - of high quality -
will last for centuries!
We really mean centuries. At least 400 – 500 years.
And here, in addition to all my other services, you can also become part of this magical book!
Your uniqueness for eternity
This book will be more than just a collection –
it will be a precious family album of humanity and its projects and companies of our time, which will exist for many generations.
With this unique project, we want to create something for every person (and every project of people of our time) that is bigger than the individual parts put together.
If you have us create a hologram, an avatar or a video or register yourself with a 2D picture (for a one-off fee of €149 net), your place in the book is secured – of course only if you want that, i.e. only with your express consent. As already written above for the museum project, the following features (included in the price) can also be selected at the same time:
The conditions for creating this century book are the same as for the museum project in terms of the number of participants. So if the museum project takes place, this century book will also be created.
At least three copies of this book will be printed:
- A copy for the creator (me).
- A copy for the museum project in which it is exhibited.
- A copy for a national library.
We will print additional copies as needed and demand increases. For every 100,000 new subscribers above the minimum number, there will be an additional volume. Eventuelly we will also sell some books.
